Hi all. The purpose of this blog post is to let you know that a) I dont know exactly what I am doing. and b) I want to do it anyway. With that said, here is what my vision is for our ASD support group using this blog: I want a place where folks that have items that are in good shape can give to other folks that are struggling and needing those items. Some ideas of items that would be wonderful to see shared:
Clothes
Shoes
Toys
Tablets
Weighted Vests
Sensory items
Talking Devices
Books
Backpacks
PECS systems
Charts/Organizers
DVDs
The list really could go on and on here. And then on. So my challenge is to figure out the absolute best way to do this for everyone and to keep it going to make it a really meaningful exchange between parents all living through this ASD journey.
